THE STORY

“Lo and Behold” (2024) is a midnight apparition—part trickster, part guardian, and part carnival curse. Out of a black void, a horned creature coils into view with a toothy, impossible grin, its body wrapped in ribbons of fire-bright yellow, red, and blue.

Dotted constellations spiral behind it like a spell in motion, suggesting this “genie” doesn’t grant wishes so much as rewrite them. The surface is built like a talisman, where the roar of acrylic color meets the flicker of embedded rhinestones and glass beads. Sealed under glossy epoxy, the piece becomes a preserved omen—slick, luminous, and framed like an artifact you weren’t supposed to find.
